Easter was so fun this year.

I love having 2 boys!

I made Jude's Easter bucket this year and he loved dumping everything out

Teague had so much fun!! He couldn't wait to find his bucket, to go on his ''hunt''.

it was really quite adorable

not to mention he literally ate every peep, jelly bean, and chocolate egg he could get his hands on

he could hardly take a breath between bites

Birthdays really are a big deal in our house.

The house was decorated and the day was packed full of as much fun as we could squeeze out of it

Teague got to bring cupcakes to school...and he felt like he was on top of the world.

He owned his world that day!

We took finn with us to kangaroo zoo (the ONLY thing he cared about doing that day).

I made a WICKED sweet cake.

Im talking...6 layered rainbow cake...from scratch (does that make up for all else i lack?)

dinner was at panda express per request from teague...gross. with grma jackie and papa bill.

teague decided that night he actually didn't love panda express.

People say time goes by faster the older you get..

but really...im not THAT old!

and this last year was a blurrrr

I feel like I just brought this adorable love monkey home

(not to mention...I look like i just brought him home too....that never helps)

So I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Jude pants is 1!!

We had a great day spent with our little family

We kept to our tradition and decorated the house for the birthday boy for when he woke up

Teague helped decorate...it was exciting and strange at the same time to decorate for a birthday other than Teague's...it has been just him for quite a while.

When Jude woke up the next morning...he KNEW it was his special day!

he smiled all day showing of his pearly whites

We took him to the park so he could get his fill of wood chips, rocks, and who knows what else

I am CONSTANTLY amazed at what amazing and generous friends we have.

So many thoughtful people dropped goodies and toys off for the little gorilla.

AND....the little fluff head got his FIRST HAIRCUT ON HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY!

Teague decorated his dirt cake....and turned it into a bug paradise.

To say the least each boy LOVED the cake

oh christmas was amazing

the best day ever

we got 2 days straight of nothing but family time

we played all day long!

at 9:30 a.m. this is what teague looked like

...pretty sure he was the only kid still sleeping

and then he finally woke up

ever since dirt and i were dating he has always given me ''queen cards''

when we got married, there were at least 100 queen cards in our hotel room

he found them in our wedding box and framed them for me

...he's a keeper

christmas eve

i have to separate posts between christmas eve and day...because i have so many pictures

Christmas this year was a bit more quiet and low key since we weren't traveling

It might have been my favorite yet,

I had 2 little boys to share it with

oh i am so in love with them

i couldn't soak it all in quick enough

being a mom....is the greatest
